The Hotels Of Florence Italy

When on holidays in Italy there is a myriad of different types of accommodation available for the Tourist to stay in. They range from hotels within the throng of the main city areas to more intimate and remote hotels located on the outer edges of the townships. Deciding on which type of accommodation that the tourist will want to will depend on their destination, their budget and their own individual preferences. In Florence for example, hotels are easily found within the city centers but for a more quiet and relaxed country style vacation, farmhouse accommodations are available. On the other hand if an extended stay is planned, instead of hotel accommodations, apartment rentals could be an option.

There are European hotels in Florence, but many of do tend to be more expensive. If you are looking for a hotel more in the mid range of costs, you will find that as a rule, you will not be able to find many cheap hotels in Italy itself. If you intend staying in Florence, you can however, with a little time and resourcefulness be able to find hotels more within a middle budget range.

Depending on your budget and needs, you could choose either to stay at one of Florence's many luxurious hotels. These hotels are generally located in the city center, close to all amenities and public transport. The cost of staying at one of these five star hotels could cost as much as Euro 170 and upwards. If you are seeking to perhaps experience daily life in Florence and want to enjoy using public transport you could consider perhaps a mid range hotel, one that is perhaps located near a station square for your convenience. The cost of staying at a mid range or a 2 star hotel is generally Euro 60-100 with the cheaper hotels coming in at approximately Euro 38-40 per night.

You can visit many of the amazing historical sights of Florence such as the Duomo, San Lorenzo, Piazza San Marco, Galleria dell'Accademia, and Palazzo de' Medici.
